The Institution was founded in the year 1972 with a humble beginning of 18 Children and 3 Teachers by the far sighted Philanthropic minded visionary Thiru.V.K.K. Nair. His untiring efforts ,total involvement and tendered care with all and affection witnessed the growth of the institution over the years to a full grown Higher Secondary School catering to the Matriculation Pattern.In October 2001,Kaligi Ranganathan Chettiar Trust took over the management. The school's liabilities was 61 Lakhs then and the Trust settled the entire amount during the take over .The school is recognized by the Govt. of Tamilnadu and classes from L.K.G to XII std are functioning with a strength of around 800 Students and 35 Teachers. It is located at Ayanavaram with 29,800 sq.ft.

It is a non-aided co-educational institution enjoying the recognition of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu. The school follows the curriculum & syllabus of Tamil Nadu Matriculation Board.
